The MAGICIAN project is a Horizon Europe research initiative developing modular robotic solutions for autonomous defect detection and repair, combining robotics with human expertise to support safer and more efficient manufacturing processes.

Within the project, DELTA MPIS contributes its expertise in composite materials and engineering applications through HULLMAP, an Application Use Case focused on robotic defect mapping and surface preparation for composite hull repairs. The use case addresses practical challenges in the inspection and maintenance of composite structures, with particular relevance to maritime and shipbuilding applications. ⚓
