The NanoOER project will develop an innovative educational platform, through the development of multimedia materials based on a life cycle analysis (LCA) calculation guide for treatments with nanoparticles in their composition, aimed at educating and training professionals in the construction sector from a holistic approach to environmental health and safety.
Nanomaterials are found in construction products, primarily in surface coatings, concrete, window glass, insulation and steel. Nanoparticles are being increasingly utilized in materials solutions for preventive conservation of cultural heritage, as well.
